She’s definitely not daddy’s little girl.

After the tragic passing of her mother Whitney Houston, many wondered how Bobbi Kristina was coping with the loss. Rumors swirled around indicating that the 19-year-old was contemplating suicide and even got high after her mother’s funeral. Now TMZ is reporting that Bobbi Kristina is hoping to pay tribute to her mother by dissociating herself from her father Bobby Brown.

“Bobbi Kristina is telling friends she can’t stand her name,” a source tells TMZ. “She’s wanted to change her name for years ever since her parents split [back in 2006] but Whitney wouldn’t let her. Now that Whitney’s gone, Bobbi feels untethered and wants to finally change her name completely, making it simply Kristina Houston.”

Despite the emotional place Bobbi Kristina must be in, the teenager has allegedly “made the decision with a sober mind and is in a ‘better place’ than she’s been in a while.”

If and when the name change will be official is still uncertain. But, Bobby Brown is most certainly devastated at the prospect of losing another woman in his life.

Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina is set to receive all of her mother’s money and belongings. Set in 1993, Whitney’s millions will be put into a trust that Bobbi will have access to in installments at 21, 25, and the final installment when she turns 30.
