Kanye West, MC Hammer, & Big Sean Make Surprise Appearances At SOB’s Anniversary Show At SXSW
SXSW’s music festival is already underway and despite it being only the third day, things have already picked up to notable highs. After Jay-Z‘s performance at the American Express show Tuesday, SOB’s celebrated their 30th anniversary in Austin, TX on Wednesday.
Featuring performances by Miguel, 2 Chainz, Machine Gun Kelly, Slaughterhouse, and more, fans were given a special treat when Kanye West was spotted milling about backstage during 2 Chainz’s performance. Shortly after, MC Hammer and Big Sean also emerged from the backstage area. Kanye and Big Sean both took to the stage and struck a pose in the middle of 2 Chainz’ performance and then Sean dropped “Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay” and “A$$” while the crowd was still in shock. Mr. West initially stated that he wouldn’t perform but went ahead and performed “Can’t Tell Me Nothin.” Hammer popped up on stage during Slaughterhouse’s performance of “Hammerdance” and the night proved to be truly special as DrJays was in attendance.
