Although they’ve been dealing with rumors of marital strife for months, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith were spotted being very affectionate with each other Friday night in Philadelphia. According to PEOPLE:

“Will, 43, and Jada, 40, were ‘couply and cuddly,’ says fellow spectator Becky Haring, 22, of Birdsboro, Pa., who sat a few rows away from the famous pair at the Philadelphia 76ers-Miami Heat game Friday night. ‘They were having a good time,’ she says.

Philadelphia-native Smith danced during the game (even though his team lost 84-78) and at one point planted a wet one on his wife for the ‘kiss cam.’

The night out was a family affair for the basketball-loving couple, who posed courtside with kids Willow, 11, and Jaden, 13.

Another attendee, Tom Kline, who was sitting in the VIP section not far from the Smiths, tells PEOPLE that they arrived at half time. ‘Will and Jada were introduced to the crow to a loud cheer,’ he says. ‘She affectionately put her head on his shoulder and he affectionately touched her as they smiled.’”

Will is in Philadelphia filming the M. Night Shyamalan movie After Earth with Jaden. Rumors that his marriage with Jada is over have dogged the couple since last summer, when talk began to circulate that Jada was getting a little too close to Latin crooner Marc Anthony, her co-star on the now-canceled TNT series HawthoRNe. It was even being reported that the two were pretending to be a happy couple for the sake of their careers. I’m happy to see that one of my favorite celebrity couples is trying to move forward together despite the rumors about their marriage.
