Rumors that Whitney Houston‘s daughter Bobbi Kristina is engaged to her “adopted” brother have been running rampant over the last few days. Supposedly, Bobbi Kristina has every intention of marrying Nick Gordon, who Whitney raised since he was 12, despite her grandmother Cissy Houston‘s objections. A source told Star magazine:

“Krissy has told her grandmother that she doesn’t need her blessing to marry Nick, and the more Cissy objects to the relationship, well that only cements Krissy’s decision.

“It’s just a very sad situation. Clearly, Krissy loves Nick, but she has just lost her mother, and her entire world has been turned upside down. Krissy doesn’t think she needs to wait, and points to her mom’s sudden death as the reason to marry Nick.”

In response to the rumors, a rep for Bobbi Kristina has denied she’s engaged. According to Gossip Cop:

“The rumors emerged last week after Brown was spotted kissing Gordon in Atlanta and wearing a diamond sparkler — which many speculated belonged to her late mother — on her left ring finger.

TMZ even reported the pair were planning an imminent trip to Las Vegas, presumably to marry.

But a rep for Brown tells Gossip Cop exclusively, ‘Bobbi Kristina is NOT engaged. It is NOT true.’”

The pair threw everyone off last week when they were photographed engaging in a little PDA while running errands around Atlanta. Now they may not be engaged, but they are obviously very close…in more ways than one.
