Michael Bay Addresses New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie
There’s been quite a buzz about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot that’s scheduled for Christmas 2013. Ever since producer Michael Bay announced that the turtles would be of alien origin, fans have been concerned that the franchise would be ruined due to new themes. Comments on numerous websites have blasted Bay’s reveal of the alien concept as most are not enthralled with the idea. Bay released another statement Tuesday that tries to clarify that the turtles as you know them will be the same. However, the name will not be. Instead of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the film will be known simply as Ninja Turtles.
Paramount marketing changed the name. They made the title simple. The characters you all remember are exactly the same, and yes they still act like teenagers. Everything you remember, why you liked the characters, is in the movie. This script is being developed by two very smart writers, with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles. They care VERY MUCH about making this film for the fans. Everyone on this team cares about the fans. Just give them a chance. Jonathan the director, is a major fan of the whole franchise. HE’S NOT GOING TO LET YOU DOWN.

Are you excited?
No, I’m not excited, I’m pissed, and will not go see this unless something changes when the script comes out. The title was already simple enough and self explanitory. Throwing aliens into the mix of something that already has a story of origin does not make you “creative” it makes you retarded! I was excited when I heard they were doing a new TMNT, when i heard Bay’s name in the same sentance I was worried, and now he says aliens and I’m pissed. I for one will not watch this movie if the aliens issue continues and I hope enough people will join me so that it bombs and ruins his career (wishfull thinking)
