Oh yeah! Look at that fine, long-legged, piece of…Uh, wait. WTF? Is that…is that Charles Barkley? Sigh.

Yep, folks. Your eyes are not deceiving you. That “woman” that you see up there is, indeed, The Round Mound of Rebound. Except that, well, he isn’t quite as round as he used to be. Thanks to fact that he’s now representing Weight Watchers, Chuck has slimmed down and lost a remarkable 42 pounds over the course of the last few months. He’s part of a campaign that Weight Watchers is doing in order to try and get more guys to sign up for Weight Watchers.

He’s doing it in a very interesting way, though. In his latest Weight Watchers commercial, Barkley is dressed up in drag. “If this is what I gotta do to get you to listen, then take a good look,” he says, outfitted in a wig, makeup, a cocktail dress, and some short black heels. “My eyes are up here, guys.”

It’s a funny commercial. Like most of the things Barkley gets himself involved with, it’s so ridiculous that it might just get guys out there to join Weight Watchers. But, does Barkley himself believe in the program? Back in January, he called his Weight Watchers endorsement a “scam” and basically said that it was a travesty that Weight Watchers was paying him so much money to eat better, lose weight, and get into better shape. Well, we bet he’s not saying that anymore. Now, they’re paying him to dress up in drag. And we’re guessing they think their money is very well spent as a result of it.

So, what do you think? Does the Chuckster dressed in drag make you want to run out and join Weight Watchers? It makes us want to do a lot of things. But, eat healthier—or “eat,” in general—isn’t one of them. Thanks for the laughs, though, Chuck.
