Lauren Conrad looks rad on the cover of Glamour magazine’s swimsuit issue.

The usually-private starlet and fashion designer stripped for the May cover and revealed that it’s been a long time since she’s felt comfortable in her own skin. “On a vacation to Cabo, I wore a bathing suit on the beach for the first time in years,” says the 26-year-old beauty. “Usually, I’m just petrified. A couple of years ago someone zoomed in on my cellulite and it was so mean. I took it really personally. I haven’t worn a bathing suit in L.A. in years because of that. I haven’t met a woman without insecurities. You just have to learn to play up the positives.”

The former reality star, who got her start on MTV‘s hit series Laguna Beach and later starred on The Hills, also opened up about the way producers tried to manipulate her reality when filming. “During shooting, the producers would send us quick text messages telling us what to talk about,” she reveals. “They couldn’t walk through the shot, so they’d just text me, like, ‘Say something quick about this story line.’ That’s why we were always checking our phones!”

Despite her fame, Lauren’s hasn’t been able to parlay her success into a flourishing relationship. “I wish I dated as much as people thought I did!” she says. “It’s really funny because almost everyone that I’m reportedly ‘dating’ is a friend of mine. About half my friends are guys, and I’ve always gotten along really well with guys. You just have to laugh at it.”

She adds, “I feel like most guys aren’t reading Us Weekly. Anyway, it’s not bad if somebody links you to one of your friends. For me, it serves as a distraction from my actual dating life. I can go and date people and not be bothered!”

Personally I have always loved what Ive seen from Lauren, I think she is so fucking gorgious. I dont think what tabloids and crap say is right and I can see how she woould feel hurt I think Im the same way she is a very caring sweet person who doesnt get why people are sso mean. Personally I dont get why girls are so rude either. Watching her show I liked her alot because she was one of the beautiful people who was real. I think she is always confident drama free and coould handle other pretty girls being around her. She seems like she is such a respectful person, I wish she was my friend. She is so naturally beautiful and real, I like that lots. Yes and honestly FUCK whoever said you have cellulite I FUCKING do who cares they can go jerk off. They are obviously rude pathetic and a crappy person. Noone should ever have to belittle someone, people like that arent worth you and your time and they are the losser who needs to look in the mirror. I hate people likr that and Id enjoy treating the shitty people like shit right back but better!!! Oh and Im good at it, I cant stand nice people being treated like that. Good luck to her and she should always keep her head up SOOO FUCKING HIGH because she is such a wonderful being/ Person. I love how you set good examples and have not followed society completly. Dont ever let anyone manipulate you or walk on you.

ONE MORE THING LAUREN, THOSE PEOPLE WHO TALK CLEARLY ARE JEALOUS aND BORED. People throw rocks at people who shine, I understand! People cant stand how your always so sweet beautiful loving and happy. They cant stand seeing you do your best because they cant or dont try. Sometimes there just miserable or like that. I still dont get people like that today.
