Shaunie O’Neal Says She’s “Over” Jennifer Williams/Evelyn Lozada Beef
It may mean better ratings for Basketball Wives, but the ongoing beef between former BFFs Jennifer Williams and Evelyn Lozada hasn’t been easy for the show’s executive producer Shaunie O’Neal to deal with. She told VIBE in a recent interview:
“It’s really difficult because it draws all these lines, and it’s just tension in the room and things that you think are just so simple, just to go eat or hang out or whatever, you gotta think it out. You gotta figure out who’s coming, who’s not.”
Although Shaunie once attempted to play peacemaker between the ladies, she admits she’s at a point where it doesn’t matter either way whether the two resolved their issues. She said:
“I’m kinda over it and don’t care anymore.”
Nevertheless, Shaunie readily admits the impact Jennifer and Evelyn’s beef has had on the rest of the ladies in “the circle,” and denies taking anyone’s side, although she’s spent most of her onscreen time this season of the show with Evelyn. She told VIBE:
“The Evelyn and Jenn situation has affected pretty much the whole cast, especially the core ladies who’ve been there, and we’re friends with both of them. It’s really complicated for people that aren’t a part of their beef. I think Jenn, she tends to think we side with one or the other, when that’s not the case. I’m too old to be siding with two grown women who have their own beef going on.”

I think Evelyn needs to grow up and stop acting like a little girl who can control her hissy fits every time someone says or does something she doesn’t like, she obviously was not brought up with any morals or manners. The girls can’t even sit down for dinner or lunch without her throwing a bottle, jumping over a table, or attacking someone like a wild animal. #growupalready
The show has taken a new direction can we say Lady Bullies. A Therapist along with Anger Management is needed to resolve alot of these ladies issues. Shame on VH1 for promoting black and latin women to physically fight like wild animals. The show should be boycotted for very poor taste in which it is degrading to the community. Latins and African-Americans should send VH1 and Shaunie O’Neal a strong message by calling and emailing the show sponors about what is appropriate type of entertainment. This is Bullying at it worst ladies in which Tami and Evelyn are the Bullies while Shaunie sit in outter space.
I believe Evelyn and Tami are bullies. I wish I was on the show because i would whip Evelyn and Tami ass for sure. I wish that any one of those monsters would act like she want to get down with me. I’m so humble, sweet, and nice but I don’t take Sugar Honey Ice Tea (SHIT) at all from no one whatsoever. I am clearly zero tolerance. And I don’t know why Evelyn get so angry when someone say she’s a Whore because clearly its true. And Tami have the nerve to talk about everyone when everybody on the cast is built better and dress better than her with those Bat N Ball legs. After being raped twice, i would be a complete lady in which I am because i too was raped at a very young age. I see why she’s divorced.
I would like to comment on the way the bbw are acting. Evelyn,Tami , Susie , and even shaunie are instigators of cruel, back stabbing conversing. And on top of all of that they laugh and make fun of others when they are being physically,verbally, and emotionally hurt. Shame on all of you.I think that Jennifer is the better person for turning the other cheek. Money is nice to have , but at the expense of hurting,bullying other is just not right. I take it that none of you attend church because you don’t to give God any of the glory for all of your blessings. some of you have children that will hear about your doings someday.With all of the profane language being tossed around, I have resigned myself not to watch your show anymore. It’s just not funny to watch another being hurt and watch those that are doing it lie about why they did it.Furthermore you all drink too much.
I am so disappointed with this season. The ladies of BBW’s look like a bunch of alcoholic bullies. I work with teenagers and I am constantly dealing with issues related to bullying. This is unacceptable. Evelyn and Tami’s behavior teaches young girls that the way to handle disagreements is through violence. As responsible women, you should not be on tv making fools of yourselves. I know that this is reality tv, but it is wrong. These women appear ignorant and ghetto. They are not role models.
On the other hand, I really respect Kesha, Royce and Jenn. They conduct themselves as ladies and are role models.
Next season, please get rid of all the fighting, cussing and name calling.

Someone said that the cast of BW were intelligent women . . . Perhaps they were intelligent, but of late, it seems as though their intelligence escapes them.
As an intelligent African-American woman, I am embarrassed by the behavior of these women! This is what you really want the world to see and other ethnic groups to believe that intelligent African-American women are like?
Evelyn may have the biggest mouth, but the majority of them act as though they missed English classes throughout their educational careers. Intelligent women don’t have to use so much profanity. They have other intelligible words at their disposal. In addition, Shaunie and her “posse” act like the “pretty or popular” girls in middle school, who poke fun at other girls, bully them, and are two-faced concerning their less popular or pretty friends. No wonder the lot of them are somebody’s “ex!”
I think this show has run it’s course. There is no redemptive or entertaining quality or value in it at all! My friends and I have stopped watching!

Money doesn’t make you — it just magnifies who you really are! If you were a “ghetto, backstabbing, loud-mouthed bully” when you were broke, you’ll be more of the sme with money!
