Watch Ty Lawson Literally Break Ryan Anderson’s Ankles In An NBA Game

We’ve heard of a player getting his ankles broken by a crossover, but this is ridiculous.

With the Nuggets up by two points with 30 seconds left in the fourth quarter against the Magic, Ty Lawson dribbled to his left as Al Harrington set a pick on Jameer Nelson. The Magic’s Ryan Anderson picked up Lawson but knew he was in trouble against the swift point guard. Lawson jabbed his right leg forward and crossed back over as Anderson literally twisted his ankle trying to recover and went sprawling to the floor as Lawson knocked down a jumper to give the Nuggets a 101-97 lead and eventually the victory.

Anderson will be out for an unknown set of time with an ankle sprain.

How unfortunate.
