Last year, Swizz Beatz made a major move when he agreed to help Reebok relaunch theirKamikaze sneaker line. Despite the fact that Nike has been killing the game for the last few years, Swizzy did some really nice things for the Reebok brand. He got guys like Rick Ross andMeek Mill to jump on board and release a song called “Reebok Back.” He got the Internets buzzing with images and information about the new Kamikaze releases. And, overall, he did a really nice job of bringing some much-needed attention to Reebok as a whole. So, it should come as no surprise to hear that Reebok wants him to do even more for the company this year.

What exactly will he be doing? Well, we’re not so sure yet. But late last week, Alicia Keys‘ boo did give us a some insight into what he might be working on when he released a few images of a Swizz Beatz x Reebok 2012 sneaker out into the world. There’s just enough revealed in the images to see what the sneakers might look like. But, he wisely took the photos of them in black and white so that we couldn’t get a good look at specific details or see the colorways that he’s working on.

That’s all the info that we’ve got right now. Unfortunately, Swizz didn’t tweet out any details along with the photos. But, you can rest assured knowing that we’ll definitely be keeping tabs on these things and doing our best to find out when and where these will drop and how much you can expect to pay for them. For now, we’re just glad to see that Swizz is doing his thing with Reebok again. It was a match made in heaven for the sneaker company last year. And, if they want to keep the momentum going, they’re smart to have Swizzy staying on board for the foreseeable future.
