John Wall is having a season that he’d probably like to forget as soon as it ends later this month. Sure, he’s doing well on an individual level and averaging 16.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 7.8 assists per game. But his team, the Washington Wizards, is absolutely dreadful. Although they’re not the worst team in the league—that “honor” belongs to Michael Jordan‘s Charlotte Bobcats—they’ve been at or near the bottom of the NBA‘s Eastern Conference standings for just about the entire season now. And it’s gotta be getting old for Wall and his teammates.

All of that said, there have been some high points this year for Wall and he’s proven himself to be the franchise player that the Wizards thought he was when they drafted him No. 1 overall in the 2010 NBA Draft. But, if you’re from the New York metropolitan area, that’s not a bad deal at all, especially when you get some Knicks tickets in the process. And, it should be enough to provide John Wall with a nice ending to an otherwise crappy season.
