President Barack Obama Calls Kanye West A “Jackass” Again
Let’s just say that if Kanye West was running for President, his approval ratings would still be way down, according to President Barack Obama.
Back in 2009, the President (and pretty much everyone else in the rest of the country) was quick to call Kanye a “jackass” for interrupting Taylor Swift‘s acceptance speech during the MTV Video Music Awards. And, even though Kanye may currently have one of the baddest chick on his arms, President Obama is still not impressed.
In a recent interview with The Atlantic, journalist David Samuels asked Obama if her preferred Jay-Z or Kanye West and the answer (clearly a no-brain for the politician) was Jay-z. And, it had nothing to do with the sweet letter Beyonce recently wrote for his wife, Michelle Obama.
“Although I like Kanye,” Obama said. “He’s a Chicago guy. Smart. He’s very talented.” After Samuels reminded Obama that he had once referred to Kanye as a jackass, the President smoothly responded, “He is a jackass….But he’s talented.”
