Rick Ross Debuts New Reebok Classics Campaign
Enlisted by good friend Swizz Beatz to be one of Reebok’s new ambassadors, Rick Ross has filmed his debut “It Takes A Lot To Make A Classic” campaign for the brand.
Growing up in the Miami suburb of Carol City, Florida and later forming local group the Carol City Cartel, Ross set out not just to make a name for himself, but to put Miami back on the national hip-hop map. Having had four top-selling albums, started his own Maybach Music record label and withstood arguably some of the biggest amounts of criticism and drama in rap music (allegations of his image being phony via his past as a security officer, ongoing beef with 50 Cent and more) Ross has shown he’s a true survivor via his tireless work ethic and ability to make timeless, irresistible music.
Now on the verge of releasing his fifth studio album in six years (God Forgives, I Don’t), Rick Ross’s momentum and reputation in the game keeps growing and Reebok have officially dubbed him a “true Classic in the making” with their new spot filmed by Colin Tilley, who has collaborated with Ross on several music videos in the past.
