The Nike Air Force 1 Hi Boots Will Be The Perfect Substitute For Work Boots This Summer
Do you rock boots in the middle of the summer? Do you have to wear two pairs of socks when you do because your feet sweat so much that you need to call in reinforcements? Are you tired of doing it but still love the look that involves pairing work boots with a pair of cargo shorts? Then, these new Nike Air Force 1 Hi Boots are probably for you.
Now, we’ve seen Nike take AF1 sneakers the boot route before. Who could forget the AF1 duck boots that they debuted a couple years ago for the winter months? However, we have to admit that we like these Hi Boots a whole lot more. Designed using tanned suede and nylon, they’re crafted to look like a pair of work boots that you might rock—for style purposes, of course, not on a job site—in the summer. They’ve got metal lace eyelets like boots, rope-styled laces like boots, and, in general, they just look like a pair of boots when you slip them on. But, they’re not. Just like a pair of AF1s, they’re comfy, relatively lightweight, and they won’t send you running for the sock drawer five minutes after you put them on. Additionally, they’ve got AF1 “XXX” insoles on the inside that were put there to help celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original AF1.
We obviously wouldn’t recommend these in place of your everyday work boots. Keep those on if you need your feet protected. But, if you’re stepping out this summer and you want to rock a pair of all-tan shoes, then this is what you need tucked away in your closet. No word yet on when or where they’ll be available or even how much they’ll cost, but we’re impressed by them so far. So, we’ll let you know when you can put them to work as soon as we hear more.
