Since word got out Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were an item (immediately after the well-timed release of ‘Ye’s new single “Theraflu”) they’ve both been called attention whores. But what if they genuinely are in love?

While he’s already met Kourtney at least (as seen in a past season of Kourtney & Kim Take New York) Kanye reportedly met the rest of Kim’s family over the weekend. The gathering took place at Spice Market restaurant in New York City’s Meatpacking district. It was likely filmed for the upcoming season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians; no word on who picked up the tab as yet.

According to TMZ, everyone loved ‘Ye and thinks they make “the perfect couple” (no irony intended, we think). And really, what’s there not to love? While Kanye’s known on a personal level for temper tantrums and sissy fits, his groundbreaking persona in hip-hop and pop culture and magnetic, creative genius are undeniable. They both share a love of fame, fashion and entrepreneurship, making ‘Ye the antithesis of Kim’s ex, Kris Humphries. And on a deeper note, Khloe‘s husband Lamar Odom found in Kris Jenner the strong, stable motherly figure he was missing—perhaps ‘Ye is drawn to this also, plus the close-knit vibe the whole family clearly has. Time will tell with this relationship.
