Without the kooky, crazy, and outlandish outfits she wears onstage, Lady Gaga would still be Stefani Germanotta. And, despite the fact that she’s already worn a bunch of out-of-this-world costumes since bursting onto the scene in 2008, the international superstar has decided to kick things up a bit for her new tour.

Giorgio Armani will be designing an assortment of over-the-top looks for Lady Gaga as she embarks on the Asian leg of  her Born This Way tour starting April 27 in Seoul. “Collaborating with Lady Gaga is always an exciting experience for me,” said the designer. “I admire the way she uses fashion as a scenic element and as a means to build a character. She is an artist of many talents and great intelligence.  Creating stage costumes for her is a stimulating and creative exercise.”

So what can we expect Gaga to work onstage? Think bustiers covered in black Swarovski jet crystals, thigh-high boots, sharp spiked shoulder jewelry, lots of latex, and, of course, a hat in the shape of a bunch of instruments.
