What Is Nicki Minaj’s First Fragrance Going To Smell Like?
She has already launched a lipstick with MAC Cosmetics and now Nicki Minaj is taking the next step in building her beauty empire. The 29-year-old rap star announced that she will be launching a fragrance to hit stores and online in the Fall of 2012.
“I have always been a huge fan of great fragrances; this is yet another extension of my creative expression and I can’t wait to share it with the world,” the “Starships” singer told WWD recently. “I designed this scent and bottle with my Barbz in mind; I know they will love it!”
Following in the footsteps of Justin Bieber, Nicki signed her fragrance deal with Give Back Brands, LLC, the makers of Bieber’s Someday which earned $3 million in only three weeks when it launched at Macy‘s last June. But the real question remains: What exactly will Nicki’s new scent smell like? Wigs? Plastic? Gunpowder? The verdict is still out, but stay tuned.

“The trap relates to anywhere that you get your money,” Nicki said recently. With her new fragrance launching soon, we’re sure she won’t be caught in the trap for much longer.
