You may not recognize her name (yet) but you’ve most likely already seen her clothes on some of the biggest names in the business like Nicky Minaj, Angela Simmons, Adrienne Baillon, Kelly Rowland, Brandy Norwood, Vashtie Kola, Kelly Choi, America’s Next Top Model winner Jaslene Gonzalez, and Dawn Richards.
Meet Dominique Auxilly. The Caribbean-American designer launched her clothing collection in 2008 and quickly became the girl on everybody’s lips by creating sheer, flirty silhouettes that were both sexy and feminine. By mixing her love of her Jamaican roots, her Queens, New York background, and her love of Marilyn Monroe, DAUXILLY was a instant sensation, although it was sold out of a small store in the Flatiron District of New York City.
