Excuse the pun. But, Michelle Phan has a lot of fans.

The 25-year-old Vietnamese make-up guru made a name for herself on YouTube recently with her make-up applying videos. With nothing more than her JVC camcorder and MacBook Pro, the former Florida art student transformed her passion for make-up to become the most successful make-up artist on YouTube by garnering over 690,000 subscribers to her dope 2111 channel and more than 150,000,000 views.

“Many of my fans on my personal blog wanted me to make a tutorial on achieving a natural look,” Phan says of launching her dope2111 channel in 2007. “I decided to create a video tutorial instead, and it’s been a hit ever since. I’m lucky that video editing is actually a hobby of mine. I love to work with motion graphics and developed an eye for it.”

More success was soon to follow. Although she once applied for a part-time job at a Lancome counter and got turned down, the beauty empire was ironically the first to come knocking following Phan’s viral success. She has been Lancome’s official video make-up artist since execs from the company signed her in 2010.

Now, Phan is making headlines for her shocking celebrity transformations. From Kim Kardashian, Drake, and Taylor Swift to Kate Middleton, Lady Gaga, and even Michael Jackson, check out some of Phan’s most amazing transformations below and watch her turn into Angelina Jolie (one of our favorites).

Are you inspired to push your boring make-up ritual after witnessing Michelle Phan in action?
