Brooklyn Nets Debut Their Logo, Designed By Jay-Z
The Brooklyn Nets have officially unveiled their new logo, designed by none other than co-owner Jay-Z.
“The Brooklyn Nets logos are another step we’ve made to usher the organization into a new era,” Jay-Z said in a statement today received by ESPN. “The boldness of the designs demonstrate the confidence we have in our new direction. Along with our move to Brooklyn and a state-of-the-art arena, the new colors and logos are examples of our commitment to update and refine all aspects of the team.”
The logo is being hailed the “new badge for Brooklyn” by team CEO Brett Yormark. According to XXL, while the team’s jerseys will be available this September fans can purchase Brooklyn Nets gear, including T-shirts and other apparel with the new logo, now on netsstore.com.
