Khloe Kardashian: “Our Show Is Not Canceled”

Despite reports from earlier this week, Khloe Kardashian has denied that she and her hubby, Lamar Odom, have quit their popular E! reality show. Reportedly, the duo pulled the plug on Khloe & Lamar so he can focus on his basketball career, which has been on a downward spiral ever since he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks by the Los Angeles Lakers. The Queens native was ultimately dropped by the Mavs after a brief and not so stellar stint with the team.
In an effort to quell the fast spreading rumors about their show, Khloe told ETOnline:
“Our show is not canceled. Lamar and I have chosen…to take a break this summer…We just want to take a little time off for Lamar to be with family time, kids, basketball, Olympics, you never know. So, we have a lot on our plate right now.”
Lamar added:
“We just want to be happy. We’ll take our time and we’ll get back to it when it’s time.”
According to a source, Lamar’s basketball career may not be the main reason why he and Khloe are making a big stink about putting their show on hold. The source told RadarOnline:
“I bet this is a ratings ploy. He is doing this to make people watch it and make people want to see it since it might be ending.”
If that’s true, then Lamar may as well change his last name to Kardashian since he’s taken on their attention-loving ways.
