Naomi Campbell’s New Gig: Model Coach On Oxygen’s The Face

Temperamental supermodel Naomi Campbell has landed a new gig coaching and mentoring aspiring models on the Oxygen network’s upcoming model series, The Face. The show, which would be in direct competition with CW’s America’s Next Top Model, gives would-be mannequins the chance to win a national spokesmodel gig. Just like ANTM, Naomi and the other coaches featured on the show would coach contestants through weekly assignments as they compete for the prize. Rod Aissa, the network’s Senior Vice President of Original Programming and Development, said in a statement about the new show:
“The Face is a fresh new series that delivers all the elements our audience craves: fashion, beauty and drama. Oxygen has been looking for the next ideation in the modeling genre and this project delivers it.’”
Good for Naomi!! Hopefully, none of the show’s contestants (hell, or the other coaches for that matter) will piss her off lest they forget her history of throwing Blackberrys at people’s heads.
