The Nike Lunar Speed 3 Gives Us An Excuse To Put Up Some Hot Photos Of Maria Sharapova

Let’s be honest: You’re probably not going to buy a sneaker for yourself—or even your girl, for that matter—because Maria Sharapova wore it. No shots at her, but unless you’re a sneakerhead who also happens to be really, really into tennis, you’re not copping kicks because of a cosign from her. Let’s treat this like one of those free timeshare vacations, though. You sit there for a second and hear what we have to say about the sneakers Sharapova is going to be wearing at the 2012 French Open later this month and then we’ll reward you with a bunch of hot photos of her. Sound like a plan? Okay, let’s go.

So, the sneakers you see above are the Nike Lunar Speed 3 sneakers. And, like a lot of the other Nike Lunar sneakers out there, they’re lightweight, breathable, and designed for performance. This is the colorway that Sharapova is going to be wearing at the French Open, but there are also a bunch of other colorways available, too. Essentially, if you’re looking for a lightweight sneaker with lots of support that’s designed to get your through a workout, then this is the sneaker for you. The Flywire technology used to create them makes them light, the Lunarian technology provides flexibility, and the “New Court Motion” outsole is supposed to give you maximum flexibility when you’re moving around in these.

Basically, if you’re into playing tennis or doing any other activity that requires a lot of movement, cop these. Or, if you just want something that’s lightweight to kick it in, these are probably worth your while, too. And, at only about 100 bucks, they won’t break the bank. So, are you sold on them? If not, peep the flicks of Sharapova that we promised below. We’re sure those should help do the trick. And, if not? Well, you can’t say we didn’t try.
