The New adidas Crazy Light 2 Campaign Could Help Make Your Name Famous
Have you ever wanted to see your name in big, bright lights? Of course you have. Who hasn’t? Well, now adidas is giving basketball fans the chance to make their names famous with their brand-new “Light It Up” Facebook app. If you participate, you could get the chance to see your name written in bright lights on a massive display sometime later in the 2012 NBA Playoffs.
So, how does it work? It’s pretty simple. All you need to do to enter your name is to go to the “Light It Up” Facebook app. Once you’re there, simply tell adidas what “light” gets you when you’re out on the basketball court. Does it help you hit the buzzer beater at the end of the big game? Does it help you tally a triple-double? Does it help you win the state championship? When they say “light” here, they’re talking about the new adidas Crazy Light 2 sneaker. The point is, of course, that the “light” sneakers help increase your chances of having success on the court.
Fans who visit the app and enter their submissions will have a chance to see their name in bright lights on some sort of big “light” display that adidas is planning on unveiling during the NBA Playoffs at the end of May. We have no clue exactly where that display will be or what it will look like. But, we can tell you that this is probably the only chance you’re ever going to get to see your name in bright lights. So, head over to the “Light It Up” Facebook app and let adidas know what light gets you. And, while you’re at it, cop a pair of those Crazy Light 2 sneakers when they drop later this month. As we told you late last month, they’re set to change the game. Again.
