Do The Miami Heat Need Chris Bosh To Win A Championship?
The injury bug has finally gotten a hold of the Miami Heat.
Fortunately, it’s not Dwyane Wade or LeBron James. However, the indefinite loss of Chris Bosh could prove to be problematic for a team that looked to be skating towards an NBA title. How problematic? Well, that’s a different story.
With the loss of Chris Bosh, the Heat aren’t as strong as they were. But that doesn’t matter all that much because the entire Eastern Conference is down several notches as the #1 seed and Derrick Rose-less Bulls have been tossed out the window by the 76ers, and the Orlando Magic have been kicked out the door without Dwight Howard. It won’t be as easy, but with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade at the helm, nobody really expects them to lose to the Pacers. Sure, the Heat were 4-5 without Chris Bosh and this would be rough if they had to deal with Dwight Howard, but they don’t. The Pacers aren’t skilled enough to beat the Heat in seven.
The goal now is to trash the Pacers in four games and hope that the Sixers can steal a few from the Celtics so they can give Bosh time to heal.
If, for some reason, Bosh’s abdominal strain keeps him out into the NBA finals, then they will have some problems. Until then, this shouldn’t be so bad.
