Dear Bun B,

We $%#^&@! hate you! Really, we do. Now, don’t get us wrong. We love your music. Love UGK. Love everything that you’ve done for other artists over the course of your career. Some of us on the Dr. Jay’s staff have run into you from time to time, and you’re a really good guy. One of the few rappers that we can say that about with a straight face. And yet, we hate you right now. Like, a lot.

Okay okay, so maybe hate is a little bit of a strong word. After all, it’s not like you dissed our mama on Mother’s Day or slept with our sister and never called her again. Now, those would be reasons to hate you. Rather, you put up a picture of a sneaker—a really, really dope sneaker—on your Twitter page recently and…well, it made us hate you. Or, at least, it made us feel like we hate you.

What sneaker are we talking about? Well, it’s the one pictured above—a Nike Air Foamposite Pro that, until this week, we’d never seen before. And, why haven’t we ever seen it before? Because Nike made it for Bun B, gave it to Bun B, and never told anyone but Bun B about it! So, he’s got the only one in all of the land. He’s got it in a Metallic Silver/Crimson colorway and he’s showing it off on Twitter. And, you know what? That’s reason enough to hate him! We love ya, Bun. But, don’t ever pull a stunt like this again. It makes us hate you.
