50 Cent Opens Up After His Major Health Emergency
Earlier this week, 50 Cent was hospitalized after suffering from severe stomach pains. And, while hearing the news that the G-Unit mogul was seriously ill genuinely had us worried, we were equally tickled when the rapper tweeted the above photo of himself laid out on his hospital bed with a stuffed giraffe, lion, and elephant gifted to him from DJ Drama.
But, after an operation (Fif tweeted to Floyd Mayweather: “I don’t want to go into surgery”), Curtis Jackson was ready to get back to work and his quick recovery may be due partially to a phone call he received from Eminem. “I’m in a dead serious moment like, ‘Damn, I don’t believe this is happenin’ right now,’” Fif said of his convo with Slim Shady. “He goes, ‘Yo Fif, you were shot nine times, man. If you die over a burger, this s— ain’t gonna go right. People ain’t gonna be feelin’ this.’”
50 was also quick to put down DJ Drama’s zoo-friendly present. “That wasn’t cool. That’s all you get,” 50 told Drama in an interview with MTV as the two promoted their new mixtape, The Lost Tape. “You get 15 tracks, you damn near have to die to do a Gangsta Grillz, and this is the thanks I get?”
