As I previously told you, Tia Mowry won’t be returning for season 6 of The Game. Despite an overwhelming amount of rumors that she was fired by BET over a salary dispute, the former child star stopped by VH1′s Big Morning Buzz Live the other day and maintained that the decision for her to leave the show was a mutual one. Meanwhile, it has since been confirmed that Pooch Hall, who plays Tia’s football playing husband Derwin Davis, will not be returning next season either. According to a statement released by BET:

“We hope both Pooch and Tia will make several guest appearances. While we miss the incredible adventures of Melanie and Derwin on The Game, we appreciate all of their hard work, the laughs and wish them both the best on their future endeavors.”

Check out Tia’s appearance on Big Morning Buzz Live below. Do you believe the decision was mutual? Thoughts?

Tia and Pooch missing from ‘The Game’is quite a disappointment. If season 6 is still going to happen the producers will need to up their game tremendously. I don’t think that Jason and Chardonnay’s relationship will be able to keep the viewer’s interest as much as Derwin and Melanie’s relationship did. The only way that could happen is if they bring back Kelly; smarter and sexier than before, to stir up drama for Jason. Furthermore, they need to make Tasha’s life more interesting and less “ghetto superstarish” its getting old and so is she. As for Malike!, he needs to be set up with a sophisticated chick that manages to change his life in a positive way… perhaps a
Vivica A Fox, real serious type of woman (Robin Givens wasn’t doing it at all, I don’t even know why that was a part of the script). Malike’s! next woman should also interest him in venturing out to other business perspectives aside from the football world. And maybe make Tasha step aside where her son’s life is concerned. Lastly, TT should maybe join the Sabers as a rookie (they might have to change TT altogether for that role), possibly have Malike! help him train to become successful.
