Xbox 360 Adds Internet Explorer

Submitted by on May 21, 2012 – 4:41 pm4 Comments

E3 2012 is around the corner and I’m sure this tidbit will be revealed more in detail come June 5. Supposedly Microsoft is taking the Xbox 360 to another level by preparing their version of Internet Explorer for web browsing on the console. Rumors suggest that the browser will be Kinect ready for voice and motion control.

Sounds like this could be a simple downloadable app, and hopefully it will be free. I foresee computer-less people finding this app exciting and useful. Could this be a side hustle to clear the retail shelves of Xbox 360s & Kinects before the official delivery of a new console? That’s pretty genius if it is.
