That’s right. Just about a month or so after Mark Zuckerberg agreed to acquire the rights to Instagram, the Jordan Brand has officially jumped on board and created an Instagram account. They posted up the picture that you see above late Friday night with the caption, “This Is Flight,” and, over the weekend, they already gained more than 10,000 followers without releasing a single photo to follow their initial offering. We’d keep a very close eye on the “jumpman23″ page, though, as we’re sure that Jordan Brand will be updating their followers very soon with more photos.

So, what can you expect from the Jordan Brand page? Well, ideally, Jordan Brand will let us in on some of the stuff they’re working on as it happens. Rather than have to rely on the images that get leaked out to the Internet and posted on sneaker blogs, we’ll have one central location where we can find out about what Jordan Brand is working on, what colorways they’ll be dropping certain sneakers in, and more. It’d also be dope to see the Jordan Brand post photos of designers working on sneakers. Those kinds of behind-the-scenes looks are what will keep us coming back to the Jordan Brand page for more.
