Justin Bieber was swag surfin’ all the way to adulthood on set for his recent LA-based fashion shoot with GQ. “I’m 18 years old and I’m a swaggy adult!” he yelled during his interview. “Come on, swaggy bros!”

The 18-year-old Canadian pop star dressed in some dapper looks like a suit and skinny tie and a pale green leather bomber jacket while straddling a motorcycle for the men’s magazine. But, even more memorable then his fashion sense was Biebs’ take on beer, business, and a babe by the name of Kim Kardashian. When asked by writer Drew Magary whether or not he like’s to get “shitfaced,” Bieber kept his cool saying, “For me, it’s just like, I like to be in control of myself. I mean, I’ve had a beer, like, before…. But I never get out of control.”

Justin then got candid about keeping his guard up while in the public eye and, with people like Mariah Yeater in the world, we can’t blame him. “I mean, I keep my guard up a lot, because you know, you can’t trust anyone in this business,” Bieber says. “That’s what’s sad. You can’t trust anybody. I learned the hard way.”

And while some women have done him dirty, Justin still keeps it positive when someone in his entourage disses Kanye’s girl Kimmy.”You guys are so mean, bro,” he gasps. “People say she doesn’t do anything; she actually does do stuff…She works hard.”

Watch Justin Bieber work hard for GQ below. Do you think the Biebs is a swaggy adult?
