Sneakerpedia Is Offering You The Chance To Win A Pair Of Nike “Galaxy” Foamposites
Sneakerpedia is celebrating its’ one-year anniversary right now. If you’re not familiar with Sneakerpedia, it’s a site that’s devoted to archiving every sneaker, well, ever. It’s powered by Foot Locker and, whether you’re a hardcore sneakerhead or just a casual fan of kicks, it’s a great tool that allows you to search for sneakers and find out just about everything there is to know about them. There’s information about when sneakers were released, what sport they were originally intended for, what colorways are available, and, of course, there are tons and tons of photos of sneakers. If you’re into sneakers, it’s worth checking out.
To celebrate their one-year anniversary, they’re also kicking off a new initiative. It’s called “Crate of the Month” and the idea behind it is to find the sneakerheads out there who have the best collections of kicks. Every month, Sneakerpedia will ask sneakerheads to submit photos of their “Crate of the Month,” which is a collection of sneakers that all fit into a specific theme. They’ll also be required to submit a short explanation as to why their “Crate of the Month” is better than all of the other ones out there. Sneakerpedia will then assemble three celebrity judges to pick three “Crates of the Month” that will be eligible to win prizes from Sneakerpedia.
The first “Crate of the Month” will kick off on May 22 and run through June 30. The theme will be “high tops” and the judges will be John Kim of SneakerNews.com, UK sneaker collector Dylan Hughes, and UK football player Darren Bent. All you need to do to enter is to visit the Sneakerpedia site and follow the simple instructions for submitting your “Crate.” Oh, and just a little added incentive: Sneakerpedia has already announced the top prize for the first month. It’ll be a pair of Nike “Galaxy” Foamposites. So, yeah, we suggest getting your “Crate” in ASAP. Head over here to do it.
