You might be getting tired of the endless anticipation over Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Rises, and the drooling over even the tiniest new bits of information. But the wait will be over soon, and until then, we’ll continue to salivate. A new TV spot for the final film in Nolan’s Batman trilogy emphasizes the themes destruction and new beginnings heavily. It uses mostly footage that we’ve seen before, but notably shows Alfred (Michael Caine) apparently telling Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) that he is “not Batman anymore.”

The new spot also features flashes of stark white text reading, “RISE,” and new footage of what appears to be Wayne climbing up out of a cave or well. (Rising, get it?!?!)

In other DKR knews, Nolan recently told Empire that the latest and last Batman film will not mention The Joker. Heather Ledger, who won an Oscar for his portrayal of the villain, died after the film was shot. Nolan says he did not want to “account for a real-life tragedy” in the fictional story line.

You might remember that Cillian Murphy‘s The Scarecrow, one of the primary villains from Batman Begins, got a brief appearance at the beginning of The Dark Knight.
