Floyd Mayweather Begins Jail Time For Attacking Ex-Girlfriend

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. surrendered to a Clark County, Nevada jail yesterday to begin serving time for attacking his ex-girlfriend. The boxing champion was sentenced to a three-month jail sentence last December for the September 2010 attack of Josie Harris, with whom he has 3 kids. Reportedly, the hair-pulling, arm-twisting incident was witnessed by 2 of the kids.
Although Floyd is known as much for his extravagant lifestyle as for his feats in the ring, the Grand Rapids, Michigan native will be forced to live a much simpler lifestyle while in the clink. According to TMZ:
“While in jail, Floyd will be kept in protective custody, which means he will be kept from the general inmate population.
Floyd’s cell is 7′ x 14′ and contains a bed, toilet, sink and small desk. He also gets a WINDOW.”
Floyd is scheduled to be released at some point in August. Then he can get back to having pissing contests with his bestie, 50 Cent.
