“I thought I was gonna die, to the point where I was calling my mom,” Drake squealed.
And with those words, perhaps the greatest prank in Punk’d history was crowned.
For a very special episode of Punk’d, original host Ashton Kutcher returned and he was definitely back to his old tricks with one goal: to go big or go home.
“I haven’t had much going on in my life,” he said in the opener (sorry, Demi Moore). “It’s been relatively mundane. I’m going to be hosting Punk’d this week because what’s happened thus far has been a f—— travesty. I think it’s time to step it up a notch.”
First up, Ashton plots with producers to trap Drake into making him believe he has been invited to meet Vice President Joe Biden. But, before he can, Ashton plans on making the rapper think he is trapped in an earthquake in a parking garage. “We’re gonna shake things up for Drake a bit,” the Two and a Half Men star laughs. “I highly anticipate Drake urinating; he might scream a little bit.”
As the “earthquake” begins, Drake gets visibly shook (excuse the pun) and starts screaming, “Why are we in a parking garage? Yo, that is no joke… that’s my first earthquake ever.”
When the gag is finally revealed, the MC seems to take the joke in stride by confessing, “I said very early on in my career that this is such a sign of feeling like you really accomplished something when Ashton decides to punk [you], so today is a semi-feeling of accomplishment, but at the same time, f— you! I do not appreciate that at all!”
