New Dark Knight Rises Footage Debuts At The MTV Movie Awards
On last night’s MTV Movie Awards, director Christopher Nolan himself offered a new sneak peak of The Dark Knight Rises. The clip included some new footage that appears to be Gotham beat cop John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) interrogating Selinia Kyle, a.k.a. Catwoman (Anne Hathaway).
Warner Bros. is being pretty strict about keeping the footage off YouTube, but it’s available here at ComingSoon.
Nolan’s presentation was preceded by stars Gary Oldman, Levitt, and Christian Bale introducing highlights from the first two installments of the trilogy, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. When Heath Ledger‘s The Joker appeared onscreen, Bale offered an “emotional shout-out,” according to the network.
The clip also coincided with the release of the fifth TV spot for the film:
Reportedly, these are the last new glimpses of the film the public will see before the July 20th release.
What do you think of the new footage? Any new clues?
