Check Out Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained (Trailer)
Django Unchained, written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, is not set for release until Christmas Day but the first trailer has already leaked online.
The film stars Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio and Tarantino favorites Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz. Set in the Deep South, the storyline follows Django (Foxx), a freed slave who treks across America with Dr. King Schultz (Waltz), a German dentist turned bounty hunter. Together, they try to retrieve Django’s wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington) from the charming but sadistic Francophile plantation owner Calvin Candie (DiCaprio) and his band of ruthless slavers.
Tarantino first spoke on his desire to direct a “Spaghetti Western-inspired film set in the Deep South” like Django Unchained back in 2007, expressing his aim “to do movies that deal with America’s horrible past with slavery and stuff but do them like spaghetti westerns, not like big issue movies. I want to do them like they’re genre films, but they deal with everything that America has never dealt with because it’s ashamed of it, and other countries don’t really deal with because they don’t feel they have the right to.”

“Django is off the chain.” Nicely put!
