Is The Nike Air Foamposite One “Black/Orange” Hotter Than The Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy”?

When it’s all said and done, the Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” is probably going to be the sneaker of 2012. Sure, the Nike Air Yeezy II has a chance to be the bigger overall sneaker. But, no one saw the “Galaxy” coming, which adds to the mystique that’s surrounded it ever since it was released a few months back. Rarely do you see a sneaker released and get that kind of reaction, save for the few pairs of retro Air Jordans that have been released over the last few years to much fanfare. But, those had a lot of hype behind them even before they dropped, so it’s really hard to compare them to the “Galaxy.” That said, there’s a chance that another Foamposite could soon dethrone it.

That Foamposite is the Nike Air Foamposite One “Black/Orange” that is pictured here. And, do we really need to explain why we expect this to be a hit? Featuring a black/orange colorway that’s mostly black with little speckles scattered throughout it, this sneaker looks like it would literally kill the sneaker game if it was ever released. The minimal amounts of orange give it just a little bit of color without overdoing things and make this a sneaker to watch out for.

The problem is that as of right now Nike hasn’t officially released any details about this sneaker. So, we can’t really even be sure that it’s definitely dropping anytime soon. All we have to go by at this point are these images of the sneaker that are floating around online. But, if it does—and if it doesn’t cost, like, 500 bucks—will you cop it? More importantly, do you think it’ll get a bigger reaction than the Foamposite “Galaxy” did? We think it’ll be a close call. Take a look at them for yourself below.
