Bet you never thought you’d read that headline! Ha. But, it’s true. Kevin Durant, who is currently trying to lead his Oklahoma City Thunder to their first NBA championship in franchise history, gave Bun B‘s wife Queenie a very, very special gift earlier this week before Game 1 of the 2012 NBA Finals. That gift? Well, let’s just say that it’s something that any avid sneaker collector—or basketball fan—would truly appreciate. It’s a never-before-seen pair of his Nike KD IV sneaker that appears to be a one-of-one.

As you can see in the photo above, this particular KD IV features a neon green upper, a black sole, neon green laces, and multiple hits of black throughout the sneaker. There aren’t a ton of other details on the sneaker. But, KD did make this pair of KD IVs even more special than they already are by adding one large detail that almost no other pair of KDs on the planet have—a personalized autograph. He wrote “To: Queenie” on the right sneaker before signing both of the sneakers and included his jersey number 35 underneath of each of his signatures.

I have to say that I’m still not a huge fan of the KD IV—I was wholeheartedly against the design of the sneaker and the strap on them when they first dropped—but they’ve slowly grown on me this season. Now that Durant has unleashed a ton of different colorways and worn his KD IVs all throughout the 2012 NBA Playoffs, I see the appeal of them and have given them a second chance. So, if given a pair of these autographed sneakers with the words, “To: Scav,” scribbled on the right sneaker, I can now honestly say that I would not turn them down (HA!).
