If you were lucky enough to get your hands on a pair of Nike Air Yeezy II sneakers, what did you do with them? Put them up on eBay or Craigslist immediately? Throw them into the back of your closet with a “DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 2032″ sticker on them? Take them to the bank and put them into a safe deposit box? Wear them when you went skating to test them out and see how they feel?

Wait…what?! We can ride for the first two suggestions. The third suggestion seems a little overboard, but hey, these are expensive-ass sneakers we’re talking about here so we can’t blame you. But, you have to be absolutely insane to roll with the fourth suggestion. I mean, there’s no way anyone would put on their $250 Yeezy IIs, throw up a middle finger at all of those poor saps who sat in line for days and still didn’t get a pair of Yeezy IIs, and go skating. Right? Right?!?

Wrong. A kid named A. Hart recently reached out to the sneaker editor at Complex and sent him a video that features him strapping on his Yeezy IIs and doing a “skate test” in them:

Granted, he wasn’t, like, running around in the mud in the Yeezy IIs or doing anything to cause any real damage to them. But, simply by skating in them, he probably brought the value of them down. And, he can forget about re-selling them for a big profit.
