Moviegoers and buffs everywhere should know that the name Oliver Stone, in and of itself, carries enough weight to have one foot in the box office line before you find out anything else. Did I mention that not only is he directing the film, he also co-wrote it?

So, the setup for this movie is as follows. Two marijuana growers get fired up when their female friend, played by Blake Lively, is kidnapped by a drug cartel (Olivia Wilde had been considered for the role and would’ve been my first choice). Carnage ensues. Uma Thurman also co-stars. Is there anything else we need to say here? Guns, drugs, women, and big names.

Sounds like a hit movie, right?
