Kick Ass Trailer: Legendary Hip-Hop Producer Rza Stars In The Man With The Iron Fists
Wu-Tang Clan‘s heyday may be some years behind us, but the legendary hip-hop group’s mastermind is still just as busy as ever with film scoring and acting. In his latest project, a kung fu thriller called The Man With The Iron Fists, Rza plays the dual roles of star and director. The movie, set in feudal China, tells the story of a blacksmith (played by Rza) who is forced to come to the defense of his fellow villagers. Russell Crowe, Cung Le, Lucy Liu, Byron Mann, Rick Yune, David Bautista, and Jamie Chung also star in “the epic story of warriors, assassins and a lone outsider hero in nineteenth-century China who must unite to destroy the clan traitor who would destroy them all.” Rza’s longtime friends, directors Quentin Tarantino and Eli Roth, were both involved in the movie’s production. The Man with the Iron Fists is scheduled for release in October. Check out the film’s trailer below:
