Adele Drops A Bombshell: She’s Pregnant!
Rumor has it that Adele is going to give up the power ballads for nursery rhymes in the near future.
The 24-year-old singer dropped a bombshell when she announced via her personal website that she’s preggers with her 34-year-old boyfriend Simon Konecki. “I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together,” the “Someone Like You” singer wrote. “I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx.”
Adele took Konecki to the Grammy Awards in February 2012.
Adele took her relationship with Konecki public when the two were photographed together in London in January and the next month the couple attended the Grammy Awards together. That same night Adele nabbed six statuettes for her sophomore album 21. While the relationship between Adele and Konecki may seem like a whirlwind, it looks like the sultry singer always planned to start having kids sooner rather than later. “I really want to be a mum,” she told People, adding that her goal was to have three sons by the age of 30. “I better start getting on with it!”
