Sometimes we forget that the word “fan” is short for “fanatic” but Usher was recently reminded of that fact when one stan (stalker fan) crossed the line recently causing the 33-year-old R&B singer to file a restraining order.

Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw, 26, showed up at Usher’s house in Georgia on two separate occasions. After being warned, she returned the very next day and was spotted by Usher via his security cameras on his stoop with her iPad plugged into a house wall outlet. When approached by the police on her second consecutive day of trespassing, Jones-Rakestraw told officers she was Usher’s wife and had lost her keys after pounding on windows and doors and demanding to be let in. Cops didn’t believe Jones-Rakestraw and arrested her.

Usher immediately filed a restraining order claiming that the delusional woman: “Placed [him] in reasonable fear for his own safety and/or the safety of his immediate family.”

“I’m assuming that when he calls me, he expects me to answer his call, and it doesn’t matter how I get to him,” she says in the video below. “That is the reason why I showed up at his properties. I am not a stalker. I have been an advocate for Mr. Raymond and his family. He has been complaining constantly to me about his ankle pains, his headaches and his situation with obtaining custody of his children. I am in love with Mr. Raymond, but I do not appreciate the fact that he has tried to charge me with stalking. I am deeply disgruntled and hurt by his misrepresentation.”

According to police, Jones-Rakestraw was transferred to a local hospital for mental evaluation after her arrest. Watch her rant below. Do we even have to ask whose side you’re on?
