50 Cent Claims He Made $80 Million Working With Reebok
Remember 50 Cent‘s G-Unit sneakers? They had a pretty short shelf life back when they hit stores in the mid-2000s and, although they were originally created to contend with Nike Air Force 1 sneakers, they’re no longer around. But, they were by no means a bust—especially when you find out exactly how much money Fif made as a result of signing on the dotted line and doing work with Reebok.
Recently, 50 Cent was in Los Angeles and he stopped by Big Boy’s Neighborhood on Power 106 FM to talk about a variety of different things that he’s got going on. One of the questions that Big Boy asked him was about the biggest check that the Queens rapper has ever seen. After contemplating the question for a few seconds, 50 talked about the work he did for Reebok and all of the money he made for and with them. Specifically, he mentioned that he sold almost four million G-Unit sneakers and he also revealed that the idea to partner with Reebok came to fruition after the sneaker company lost out on the bidding war to sign LeBron James when he first came into the league. Because Bron-Bron turned Reebok down, 50 was able to step in and scoop up a handsome payday as a result of it. In fact, he pulled in somewhere in the range of $80 million from Reebok and collected some very large checks from them during their partnership with him.
Check out the video below to hear 50 talk about his time working with Reebok. Say what you want about the guy, but hearing him talk here, it’s pretty clear that he’s incredibly savvy as a businessman. And, it’s pretty amazing to think about how much money he probably has sitting in his bank account right now. Get rich or die tryin’ indeed!

That dude is the ultimate hustler, I applaud him.
