Brad Pitt’s Mom Slams Gay Marriage, Obama, & Abortion In A Missouri Newspaper

In the same week that celebrities like Frank Ocean and Anderson Cooper have come out of the closet and received an outpouring of support, one woman is speaking out against gay rights and denouncing same-sex marriage. Jane Pitt, Brad Pitt‘s mother, wrote a letter to her local Missouri newspaper, Springfield News-Leader, to take a stand against President Barack Obama, same-sex marriage, and abortion. The letter was written in response to another letter written against voting for Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney because he is Mormon. Read the entire letter below:

I have given much thought to Richard Stoecker’s letter (“Vote for Mormon against beliefs,” June 15). I am also a Christian and differ with the Mormon religion.

But I think any Christian should spend much time in prayer before refusing to vote for a family man with high morals, business experience, who is against abortion, and shares Christian conviction concerning homosexuality just because he is a Mormon.

Any Christian who does not vote or writes in a name is casting a vote for Romney’s opponent, Barack Hussein Obama—a man who sat in Jeremiah Wright’s church for years, did not hold a public ceremony to mark the National Day of Prayer, and is a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage.

I hope all Christians give their vote prayerful consideration because voting is a sacred privilege and a serious responsibility.

Seeing as though Brad and his soon-to-be-wife Angelina Jolie have been long supporters of gay rights, this latest statement comes as a bit of a shock. “No state should decide who can marry and who cannot,” Brad said to People magazine last year. “Thanks to the tireless work of so many, someday soon this discrimination will end and every American will be able to enjoy their equal right to marriage.”

Perhaps Brad can start with ending the discrimination emanating from his mother.

    OBAMA’S FAVORITE BIBLE VERSES

[I recently came up with these two verses. If you can find any more tongue-in-cheek ones in the Good Book that apply to Obama, please add them at the end and then circulate everything on the internet!]

Isaiah 1:18: “Come now, and let us treason together.”

Matthew 24:8: “All these are the beginning of Soros.”

Way to go Mrs. Pitt. Liberals are soooo ignorant. I post on my liberal friends blogs and facebook pages and they can’t be talked to. They erase posts and ignore and wont listen to anybody. Mitt Romney is this nations best chance. Obama and the liberal media can spend and brainwash as much as they want…but he just wasn’t experienced enough to do the job and all he wants to do is spend and start class warfare against rich people and get poor people dependent on his social programs so he can get more votes. It is not discriminatory to believe marriage is between a man and a woman. Obama has no core because one moment he says its between a man and a women and now he says the opposite when the polls say he can do so. What a coward. Hes either a coward or a liar…theres no other way. Romney 2012!!!

I share your opinion, completely. Your an extremely beautiful lady and with intelligence to match. This person must qualify as a racist I don’t like this half breed African, anti American in the White House. My selection would have been an American named Alan Keyes. The Hooliwood idiots might like to know that two Empires fell when the “Queers” became recogized as a part of the society.

I only agree with Mrs. Pitt on one of those controversial subjects. But, thanks to the U.S. Constitution, specifically the First Amendment (the one before the Right to Bear Arms), we’re allowed to voice our opinions whatever they are, without fear of (legal) prosecution. Did you know we’re the only country in the world that has that right in writing? Did you know we’re the only country in the world who has the legal right to own guns in writing? Our founding leaders included that right specifically in case any of our future governments tried to seize the majority of the power, we citizens wouldn’t be completely powerless and at their mercy. That’s why I fear Obama’s re-election, and am voting for Mitt Romney.
