Reportedly, Usher‘s stepson has been declared brain dead after suffering injuries caused by a collision with a jet ski last week. As we previously told you, Kyle Glover was struck in the head by the vehicle while riding an inner tube with a teenage girl on Atlanta’s Lake Lanier on Friday. Kyle was unresponsive at the scene, and was airlifted to an Atlanta hospital where he was listed in critical condition. According to TMZ:

“…Kyle Glover (son of Usher’s estranged wife Tameka Foster) has not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted to the hospital. We’re told there has been no decision yet as to whether or not to take him off life support.

Our sources say Usher arrived at the hospital last night and Tameka has not left the hospital since she got there.”

The Department of Natural Resources in Atlanta is conducting an investigation into the accident, but it possibly won’t be complete for months.

Usher and Tameka are in the middle of an ugly custody battle over their two sons together, 4-year-old Usher Raymond V and 3-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond. Here’s hoping this heartbreaking episode will force the two of them to rethink the messy back-and-forth they have engaged in since the start of their custody fight. Regardless of what the doctors are saying, we hope Usher, Tameka, and their family keep strong and keep the faith.
