Is Adam Lambert Replacing Jennifer Lopez On American Idol?
She’s a much loved part of the current American Idol family but if Jennifer Lopez decides not to return next season, word on the street is former contestant Adam Lambert will possibly replace her.
According to Pop Crush, the Fox network’s top brass adore Lopez for her work on the show and “don’t want her to leave,” but if the rumors are true and she’s decided not to come back (to focus on her film and music career) Lambert is potentially going to be sitting pretty in her middle chair.
Sources from the show say “they have been talking about Adam for over a month” and “he knows what it’s like to be on the receiving end of the judges’ comments, he has a human touch, and they know they can’t go wrong if they bring him on. He would be able to bring a unique perspective to the show.”
I hope so! JLo is totally useless as a judge. Adam Lambert has already proven himself on other shows. He has been in their position and became an international success. Who better.
Adam would be great. I agree with LC – Jennifer is not as well loved as AI thinks she is. It is all about her and she picks favorites. I am so sick of hearing her say “I got goosies.” She is in her 40s and needs to act it.
