Model of the moment Kate Upton has been on the minds of many fellas recently but it looks like Detroit Tigers pitching ace Justin Verlander is the one who’s captured her heart.
The Sports Illustrated pinup and baseball star have been spotted together at numerous Detroit social spots over the past week (including local bars and an Aerosmith concert) and are rumored to have met on the set of two commercials promoting the MLB 2K12 video game and its $1 million perfect game challenge.
According to the Detroit Free Press, Verlander has reportedly had a longtime girlfriend, Emily Yuen, of whom he told Men’s Journal in April: “She’s the one, but I’m not ready.” Neither Verlander nor Upton have commented about their budding relationship yet.
