After last weekend’s tragedy involving Usher‘s stepson, it’s good to start this weekend off with a celebrity story with a happier ending. Reportedly, actor Michael Clarke Duncan suffered a heart attack in the early hours of Friday morning, but was saved by his girlfriend of two years, reality TV vixen Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth. According to TMZ:

“Omarosa discovered the “Green Mile” actor in a state of cardiac arrest just before 2:00 AM.

We’re told Omarosa performed CPR and was able to resuscitate the 54-year-old.

MCD was transported to a nearby hospital where he was immediately admitted to the ICU.”

A friend told RadarOnline that Michael, who received an Oscar nomination for his work in 1999′s The Green Mile, has been transferred to Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He is expected to make a full recovery according to his publicist, who said in a statement on Friday:

“According to doctors, Michael Clarke Duncan suffered a myocardial infarction early this morning. He is now stable and we look forward to his full recovery.”

Omarosa is best known for being one of reality TV’s most infamous villains, originating on NBC’s The Apprentice in 2004. She and Michael reportedly met at a Whole Foods two years ago. Although this was probably the furthest thing from her mind when she began performing CPR on the beloved actor, Omarosa has probably completely rehabilitated her image with her lifesaving heroics. You can’t pay for that kind of PR!!!
